Plaster casts of hands and feet lean against the rings on the paper. Jasper Johns uses encaustic paint to layer the rings and set the casts. The colours stay muted, with grey and warm white tones.

This fine art print arrives set in a frame with a back panel. The matte paper holds the soft greys without shine. The frame keeps the edges even, so the casts and the target rings stay clear from room to room.

In a study, the print goes on a side wall near a bookshelf. From the desk you see the target rings first, then the casts as you turn the page. The quiet grey tones fit the desk lamp and the wood shelves.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0791/0162/4571/files/b3eeebf8-84c1-49af-b8cb-1d686b378528.jpg?v=1792203465
