The surface holds brushwork and a wax-like build that points back to Jasper Johns and his habit of working with familiar objects.

The print is finished as a fine art piece on matte paper, so the darker passages stay even and there is no shine under a lamp. A frame finish can follow the room, a light frame on a dark wall or a wood frame beside wooden furniture.

It suits a study or a reading corner, hung on the wall beside a desk. From that spot you notice the repeated leg forms first, then the small changes in the paint as you step nearer. The view stays calm while the shapes do the work.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0791/0162/4571/files/254dba59-0b43-44d9-abe3-fd278c047106.jpg?v=1792215141
