The artist used painted panels to build the stripes and the star field. The work stays with that same method of layering thin paint over a flat ground and repeating the same shapes across the page.

This fine art print uses a matte paper so the painted layers read without a shine. On a wall with one steady lamp the painted panels keep their separate tones and the darker blue in the star field stays soft. The frame finish can follow the room.

It fits on the side wall of a narrow study, set above the desk. You notice the repeated flag shapes from the door and the small changes between the panels when you stand by the bookshelf.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0791/0162/4571/files/cb3bf552-f421-4029-b22f-d6e9a18b9aed.jpg?v=1792222065
