The painting uses thick pigment laid in blocks, a method linked to Gunther Forg and his post war practice.

You can see the brush action where one colour meets the next. The work stays with abstract painting and colour field painting. The fine art frame in white gives the image a clean line on the wall.

The white finish sits quietly beside the painted blocks without pulling attention away. A reading corner works well for this print. You notice the colour changes first, then the marks across the sheet.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0791/0162/4571/files/f07d320f-395b-47f9-a826-589c716c942e.jpg?v=1792325550
