Natalia Goncharova was a Russian avant-garde painter and founding figure of Russian Futurism and Rayonism, whose bold, colourful works synthesise peasant folk art, Cubism, and dynamic rays of light. Her powerful art was central to the Russian avant-garde movement of the early 20th century.
