De fins lavis d'ocre et de vert écume de mer s'interpénètrent, laissant de légères striations horizontales là où le papier a séché. Un unique trait de cobalt près du sommet ancre la composition, comme si la marée s'était arrêtée à mi-chemin de son retrait. Les bords restent bruts, non masqués, laissant la couleur décider de ses propres limites.
