About this work

Moret on Loing and the Church

A church spire rises above the village of Moret on Loing. The painting captures a moment of quiet reflection, where architecture and nature coexist in harmony. Moret on Loing and the Church is a testament to Loiseaus ability to convey depth and atmosphere through color and composition. Loiseau employs a postimpressionist technique, using small, distinct brushstrokes to build up the scene. The colors are muted yet rich, with the greens of the trees and the blues of the sky and water creating a serene palette. The church, painted in soft whites and grays, stands as a focal point amidst the lush greenery and the calm waters of the Loing River. This art print brings a sense of tranquility to any space. It is well suited to a study or living room, where its calming colors and composition can be fully appreciated.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes. This is a stretched canvas, not a rolled or loose print: the image is printed on a cotton-polyester canvas (300 to 350 gsm) and wrapped over FSC-certified wood stretcher bars, 4 cm deep. A hanging kit is included in the box, so no frame, glazing or assembly is needed. Hardware supplied can vary slightly by country depending on which of our ateliers produces your piece.
The canvas is a cotton-polyester blend, 300 to 350 gsm (350 to 400 microns), printed with archival pigment inks and stretched over responsibly sourced, FSC-certified wood stretcher bars. This edition is the 4 cm Thick profile, which gives the piece real presence on the wall and lets it hang cleanly without a frame. The texture of the weave is part of the finish and is visible up close. To clean it, dust gently with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid water, solvents and direct sunlight for long periods. Every canvas is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and nothing sits in a warehouse.
As a guide: 40×50 cm suits a desk or small wall, 50×70 cm sits well above a sofa or bed, and 70×100 cm anchors a room as a focal piece. If you'd like advice for your space, send us your dimensions and we'll recommend a size.
For your country, this piece is estimated at 4 to 7 business days from the moment you order, on our free tracked Economy service. Express is offered at checkout where available. Every piece is printed at the atelier closest to you, which is why the timing differs by format. Full country-by-country ranges are on our estimated delivery times page.
If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, let us know within 30 days of delivery and we'll send a free replacement or refund — no need to send anything back first in most cases. See our refund policy for the full process.
