Smart River Alaska — Fine Art

The title Smart River Alaska - 1945 points to a river scene with cool water tones set beside warmer land. A.Y. Jackson painted many northern rivers with broad strokes and a strong sky. In this picture the blues sit against earth browns and the light stays steady across the surface.

This fine art piece arrives ready to hang with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail. You do not need to buy a separate frame.

In a kitchen with a window on the east wall the river tones sit quietly beside the sink. From the table you see the broad shapes of water and bank, and when you walk past the hanger holds the sheet level on the nail.
