Wilderness, Deese Bay — Fine Art

Wilderness, Deese Bay - Art Nouveau Modern shows a stretch of water with low shoreline and trees standing against the sky. The scene keeps a cool tone with greens and greys, and the shapes sit quiet across the sheet. A.Y. Jackson worked in the Canadian landscape tradition, often painting outdoors and studying light on water.

The fine art version uses a white frame finish, which gives the picture a clean edge on the wall without pulling focus from the water and trees. A wood frame finish sits warmer beside the greens, and the dark wood finish adds a firmer line at the edge.

It fits a study room wall above a desk. From the chair you see the broad water shape first, and when you step closer the shoreline and tree line read more clearly.
