Awakening Memory of Father — Fine Art

The title points to a memory of a father figure, painted with the calm shapes and soft light Agnes Lawrence Pelton often used.

Her practice leans toward a spiritual modernism with quiet colours and gentle forms. The fine art print keeps those tones steady on a matte sheet, so the lighter passages stay soft under a lamp.

A dark frame on a pale wall lets the painted shapes sit without drawing the eye away from the room. It reads well on a bedroom wall above a low dresser, where the quiet forms settle into the room and the soft light catches the painted tones.
