Kiefer S Studio Complex at Barjac in Southern France 2012 — Fine Art

Kiefer S Studio Complex at Barjac in Southern France 2012 shows a built ground spread across the picture. Thick earth tones meet a pale sky and the heavy lines hold the view together. The scene reads as an artist work space caught in a wide frame.

The white frame gives the sheet a clean edge on the wall. The white edge keeps the rough paint surface calm and apart from the room. This fine art piece holds the dark ground in place without taking over the picture.

On a hall wall near the front door the heavy shapes sit steady while the light from the corridor falls across the lower band. You notice the earth colour first and the pale line second.
