Seins 1984

Across the room Seins 1984 by Antoni Tapies reads as a soft field with darker marks gathered near the centre.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. Up close you see the hand worked traces and the uneven ground beneath them. The shapes sit loosely over the paper and the marks vary in pressure.

The work leans on the material painting practice Antoni Tapies used for much of his career. You see the physical feel of the surface before the image settles.

As a guide: 40×50 cm suits a desk or small wall, 50×70 cm sits well above a sofa or bed, and 70×100 cm anchors a room as a focal piece. If you'd like advice for your space, send us your dimensions and we'll recommend a size.

For your country, this piece is estimated at 5 to 8 business days from the moment you order, including production, with free tracked delivery. Every piece is made to order by the print partner closest to you; framed pieces take a little longer because each one is framed and checked before dispatch. These are estimates, and there is no express option. Full country-by-country ranges are on our estimated delivery times page, and you can see exactly how your piece is packed.

If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number, and keep all packaging. We will send a free replacement at no cost to you. See our refund policy for the full process.
