Nature Symbolized or Reefs — Fine Art

Nature Symbolized or Reefs - 1924 by Arthur Dove uses soft paint shapes that drift across the page. The marks bend and overlap without hard edges. Arthur Dove worked with watercolour and oil in loose layers, building colour into simple forms.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. The white frame gives the picture a clean edge. That edge keeps the pale paint from spreading into the wall. The white finish matches the lighter tones in the image.

On a bedroom wall near the bed, the soft shapes stay calm in the morning light. From the doorway you see the wide band of colour first.
