Fiumetto 1941

Water and boats appear in Fiumetto 1941, drawn in the way Carlo Carra often treated the sea and shore. The shapes stay simple, with open space around them. The scene feels calm and held together by a steady line work.

A fine art print shows these marks on matte paper, so the grey tones do not shine under a lamp. The frame finish can match the room, with a light frame on a dark wall or a wood frame beside wooden furniture.

It fits above a low cabinet in a study, where the horizontal shapes run across the wall. From the desk you notice the quiet water line and the soft paper face.
