Clair D Obscurite 1988

Clair D Obscurite 1988 holds a tension between light and dark across the surface. Shapes drift from one side to the other with soft edges between them.

Parts of the paper stay open and quiet. The name points to a play of hidden and shown light. A fine art print sits inside a frame and rests on a back panel.

You get a ready to hang piece when the ready to hang option is chosen. The matte face keeps the soft tones steady under indoor light. Hang it in a dining room where the evening lamp throws a warm glow across the shapes.

As a guide: 40×50 cm suits a desk or small wall, 50×70 cm sits well above a sofa or bed, and 70×100 cm anchors a room as a focal piece. If you'd like advice for your space, send us your dimensions and we'll recommend a size.

For your country, this piece is estimated at 5 to 8 business days from the moment you order, including production, with free tracked delivery. Every piece is made to order by the print partner closest to you; framed pieces take a little longer because each one is framed and checked before dispatch. These are estimates, and there is no express option. Full country-by-country ranges are on our estimated delivery times page, and you can see exactly how your piece is packed.

If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number, and keep all packaging. We will send a free replacement at no cost to you. See our refund policy for the full process.
