Untitled 1976

Untitled 1976 by Chu teh Chun belongs to the abstract ink and colour work of the artist. Broad brushstrokes in black and grey wash sit over a plain ground. The marks vary in width and length, and the lighter areas let the surface show through.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. The matte surface keeps the grey tones even when light falls across the picture.

In a hallway with a narrow passage, the wide strokes read from the door. You notice the uneven edges of each stroke as you pass by.
