Idea

Idea - 1964 shows a plain ground with a cool grey band drawn across it. The band is lighter on one side and darker on the other. Dieter Roth often used simple lines and soft tone in his work.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. You fix it up and the grey band reads flat against the wall without a shiny surface getting in the way.

On a bedroom wall near the bed, the grey band settles into the quiet. From the doorway the tone reads as one shape, and from the pillow the edges feel soft. The light in the room keeps the grey from going heavy.

As a guide: 40×50 cm suits a desk or small wall, 50×70 cm sits well above a sofa or bed, and 70×100 cm anchors a room as a focal piece. If you'd like advice for your space, send us your dimensions and we'll recommend a size.

For your country, this piece is estimated at 5 to 8 business days from the moment you order, including production, with free tracked delivery. Every piece is made to order by the print partner closest to you; framed pieces take a little longer because each one is framed and checked before dispatch.
