The Iles dOr The Iles dHyeres, Var — Fine Art

The Iles dOr The Iles dHyeres, Var sits on a field of warm yellow and blue patches that push against each other along the shore. Henri-Edmond Cross built the scene with small separate colour touches, so the water and the land feel broken into pieces.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. The frame comes in white, wood, dark wood or black and gives the picture a clean edge on the wall. A black finish puts a firm line around the yellow patches and holds the bright touches in place.

Hang it in a dining room over a sideboard where the evening light hits the surface. From the table you see the warm shore tones first, and the pale sky settles behind them without pulling the eye away.
