Blue Diaphan — Fine Art

Blue Diaphan - 1965 shows a blue field set against a lighter ground. The blue sits in patches and thin bands, with small breaks where the lighter colour shows through. The tones stay close to each other, so the picture reads as one quiet colour rather than separate parts.

The print is a fine art piece that arrives ready to hang. A metal hanger is fitted to the back, so it goes straight onto a nail or screw. You do not need to buy a separate frame.

It works on a kitchen wall above the counter, where the blue field is clear from the sink and the small breaks show when you stand near the stove. The lighter ground keeps the blue from feeling heavy above the tiles.
