Candle Mirror

A mirror stands in the centre of a dark room while a single candle burns on one side. The reflection shows the flame and the holder, but the glass surface also brings in a second light from outside the frame.

This fine art print is ready to hang on arrival. The print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame is needed. The matte paper keeps the black lines from shining under a lamp, so the room stays calm.

The image works on a dining room wall above a sideboard. From the table you notice the flame in the mirror and the extra light coming through the glass. That second glow stays still while the plate on the table moves.
