Grey Fireworks — Fine Art

Grey Fireworks - 2000 starts with thin ribbons of grey that fan outward from a dark centre. The paint runs in long sweeps across the sheet, leaving soft edges where one colour meets the next. You can see where the brush dragged and where the thinner wash settled into the ground.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. The sheet comes ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. The matte paper holds the greys without shine, so the dark centre reads as a solid shape and the lighter edges stay open.

It works on a study wall near a desk lamp. From the chair you see the broad grey sweeps first, and closer in you notice the small differences between the bands.
