Grove Group I

Grove Group I - 1973 sets a pale ground against a darker band running across the page. The marks here are thin drawn lines and a small dark mark near the centre. The work sits in the post war abstract tradition.

This fine art print is set in a frame with a back panel. The matte paper keeps the light greys soft and there is no shine under a lamp. The frame holds the sheet flat. You can hang it as it arrives when the ready to hang option is used.

It fits well on the wall beside a built in bookshelf in a study. From the desk you notice the small pencil marks first. Step back and the wider band settles into the room. The light from the desk lamp falls across the lower part of the sheet.
