Mutant Mirror No. 5 - 1971 by Manuel Rivera turns a simple reflection into a flat painted field. The surface carries uneven paint sweeps over a dark tone. The artist often built his paintings from bold colour blocks and hand marks. A mirror image sits here without glass, only paint on the sheet.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. The print is matte, so the dark tone stays soft under a lamp and the paint sweeps do not shine. A light frame on a dark wall lets the painted mirror stand out at normal height.
