Ok State I 1990 — Fine Art

The title Ok State I 1990 sets a plain ground for a single word or short phrase, set in a style common to the pop art period and west coast painting practice.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. The image relies on flat tone and lettering as the main subject, with no busy detail around the edges. The matte paper keeps the solid tone band soft and stops glare under a ceiling light.

A metal hanger on the back lets the sheet go straight onto one nail, so the picture stays level without a frame. It works on a long hallway wall where the eye moves past the lettering at a steady step, then stops to read the shape.
