Sun Corner — Fine Art

Sun Corner - 1968 shows a bright patch of colour resting on a washed sheet. The paint sits in a wide band with a few thinner lines near the edge. Helen Frankenthaler poured the colour straight onto the surface, so the field soaks in and leaves a soft border where it stops.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. The frame finish can follow the room, such as a light frame on a dark wall or a wood frame beside wooden furniture. That keeps the painted field close to the eye without a strong border pulling attention away.

It hangs in a dining room on the side wall, from the table you see the broad colour first and the thin lines only when you pass by.
