Hindu Motif, or Graduated Red — Fine Art

Hindu Motif, or Graduated Red by Frantisek Kupka shows flat colour blocks that step from deep red to near white. The marks do not blend. Up close you read each band as a separate shape. From across the room the red bands form a steady ladder of tone.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. The print sits on matte paper with no shine under a lamp. A light frame keeps the red bands clear against a darker wall, while a dark frame lets the soft edges stand out on a pale surface.

It fits a kitchen wall above the counter where morning light hits the bands at a low angle. You notice the white end first, then the red steps draw the eye across the tiles.
