Farbwanne 1984

Farbwanne 1984 shows a ring of colour around a darker central mass, a lens of paint sitting on the sheet.

The colour sits in a single band with a soft edge that fades outward, a way of working Gotthard Graubner used in his painted colour lenses. The fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw.

No separate frame to buy. You notice the ring first from the end of the corridor, then the soft outer edge when you stand nearer the wall.

As a guide: 40×50 cm suits a desk or small wall, 50×70 cm sits well above a sofa or bed, and 70×100 cm anchors a room as a focal piece. If you'd like advice for your space, send us your dimensions and we'll recommend a size.

For your country, this piece is estimated at 5 to 8 business days from the moment you order, including production, with free tracked delivery. Every piece is made to order by the print partner closest to you; framed pieces take a little longer because each one is framed and checked before dispatch. These are estimates, and there is no express option. Full country-by-country ranges are on our estimated delivery times page, and you can see exactly how your piece is packed.

If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number, and keep all packaging. We will send a free replacement at no cost to you. See our refund policy for the full process.
