Untitled 2004

Untitled 2004 by Gotthard Graubner uses a colouristic abstraction approach. Soft pulses of tone spread across the sheet in layered bands. The marks stay close to the surface, built up through repeated passes of pigment rather than sharp lines.

A fine art print arrives ready to hang. A metal hanger is fitted to the back so it goes straight onto a nail. You do not need to add a frame.

On a dining room wall the tone changes feel the light from the table. From the doorway you read the broad colour shifts first.
