Composition bleue et verte — Fine Art

Composition bleue et verte - 1988 by Gunther Forg shows two broad colour fields meeting across the sheet. The blue band runs along one side and the green band takes the rest, with a hard edge between them. Empty space stays open on the other side. The eye moves from the blue section toward the green and stops at the boundary.

The fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel, so the surface stays flat and the two colour bands read without glare from the glass. The frame keeps the edges neat and the back panel holds everything square.

A clean hallway wall works well for the picture. From the far end of the hall you see the blue band first and the green band second, with the edge between them clear against the plaster.
