Untitled 1090

Untitled 1090 - 1990 by Gunther Forg sits on a plain ground with a few broad strokes of paint crossing the sheet. The colours stay close to each other, with one band darker than the rest. The marks do not fill the space.

This fine art piece comes with a frame finish that sets the picture apart on the wall. A white frame gives the painted band a clean line against the edge of the sheet. A wood frame warms the area where the paint ends.

It works on a dining room wall where the light is soft in the evening. From the table you notice the broad paint band across the top and the empty space below it. The shapes stay simple and the room feels calm with the picture there.
