Untitled - 1991 shows a painted field with a thin band of tone crossing the sheet. The colour stays even across the surface, and a darker passage sits near one side. Gunther Forg worked with plain grounds and small shifts in tone.

The fine art print uses a matte paper so the flat colour reads without shine. The frame finish can match the room you choose, so the painted band stays in view without drawing the eye away.

Hang it on a hallway wall beside the door. From the landing you see the flat band first, and the darker passage stays quiet at the side.
