Untitled III — Fine Art

Untitled III - 2000 shows a painted ground with several broad colour areas set in a row. The blocks sit close together on the sheet. Gunther Forg often works this way, placing flat paint against a lighter field and leaving the edges crisp.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang. A metal hanger fits on the back and goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame is needed, so the picture goes up on the wall in one step.

It works on a hallway wall near the stairs. From the landing you notice the broad bands and the even tone. The metal hanger keeps it steady there day after day.
