Bilbao

Bilbao - 1998 by Helen Frankenthaler holds a wide field of thin colour spread across the sheet. Soft edges and stained washes stay close together. The picture reads as a calm plane of paint with a few quiet shifts in tone.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. The print sits on matte paper and the frame finish can follow the room. A light frame on a dark wall lets the washed tones stay open, while a wood frame beside wooden furniture ties the picture to the surface.

It fits a study wall hung mid height with a steady lamp from the side. You notice the thin colour lines and the soft edges before you see the whole sheet.

As a guide: 40×50 cm suits a desk or small wall, 50×70 cm sits well above a sofa or bed, and 70×100 cm anchors a room as a focal piece. If you'd like advice for your space, send us your dimensions and we'll recommend a size.

For your country, this piece is estimated at 5 to 8 business days from the moment you order, including production, with free tracked delivery. Every piece is made to order by the print partner closest to you; framed pieces take a little longer because each one is framed and checked before dispatch. These are estimates, and there is no express option. Full country-by-country ranges are on our estimated delivery times page, and you can see exactly how your piece is packed.

If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number, and keep all packaging. We will send a free replacement at no cost to you. See our refund policy for the full process.
