Tahiti - 1989 by Helen Frankenthaler uses broad poured colour laid across the sheet. Thin washes settle into the ground and leave open areas where the surface shows through. The field of paint spreads without hard borders.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. The frame comes in white, wood, dark wood or black. A white finish keeps the painted field open at the edge, while a dark wood finish gives the picture a firm outline against the paint.

It sits on the staircase wall above the narrow shelf. From the landing you notice the wide painted band, and closer up you notice the small breaks in the wash.
