Tales of Genji III

Tales of Genji III - 1998 sits on the wall as a cool field of blue with a narrow band of orange near the bottom edge. The paint soaks into the sheet in thin layers, leaving soft shapes and a quiet surface.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. The print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. You lift it onto the fastener and the blue field settles flat against the wall.

It works on a bedroom wall above the bed, where morning light hits the lower orange band first. From the doorway you notice the cool blue wash and the thin paint lines that run through it.
