Untitled

Untitled - Color Field Painting, Lyrical Abstraction shows a wide field of thin colour laid across the sheet. The washes sit next to one another, with one tone running into the next. You can see where the paint soaked into the paper and left a soft mark.

This is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The glass keeps the surface flat so the colour field stays even and the smaller marks do not get lost.

A quiet hallway wall gets a steady wash of tone across it. From the far end of the hall the broad fields hold together, and near the frame the thin edges of the soak stain painting come into view.
