About this work
Pines
Towering pines dominate the scene in Shishkin's Pines. The forest is alive, each tree a testament to nature's quiet persistence. The viewer is drawn into the woods, where sunlight struggles to pierce the canopy.
The forest floor is a tapestry of fallen needles and dappled shadows. Shishkin's mastery of texture brings the bark to life, rough and tangible. The interplay of light and shadow creates a sense of depth, inviting the eye to wander among the trunks.
This poster brings the forest indoors, ideal for a study or den.

As a guide: 40×50 cm suits a desk or small wall, 50×70 cm sits well above a sofa or bed, and 70×100 cm anchors a room as a focal piece. If you'd like advice for your space, send us your dimensions and we'll recommend a size.
For your country, this piece is estimated at 3 to 6 business days from the moment you order, including production, with free tracked delivery. Every piece is made to order by the print partner closest to you; framed pieces take a little longer because each one is framed and checked before dispatch. These are estimates, and there is no express option. Full country-by-country ranges are on our estimated delivery times page, and you can see exactly how your piece is packed.
If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number, and keep all packaging. We will send a free replacement at no cost to you. See our refund policy for the full process.
