About this work
Trees Near A Stream On Mount Castel by Ivan Shishkin (1879)
A dense cluster of trees crowd the banks of a shallow stream in Ivan Shishkin's Trees Near A Stream On Mount Castel. This artwork captures the essence of a secluded forest scene, where nature's tranquility is palpable.
The intricate details of the foliage and the play of light on the water's surface showcase Shishkin's mastery. The earthy greens and browns dominate the palette, creating a sense of depth and realism. The trees, with their gnarled roots and towering trunks, frame the stream, drawing the viewer's eye into the scene.
This art print brings the serene beauty of the forest into your living room or study.
