Moratorium Flag — Fine Art

A flag painted in grey and red covers the picture. Jasper Johns uses the familiar flag shape as a subject for painting. The colours sit on a plain ground with soft edges. This fine art print keeps that simple flag idea clear and readable.

The matte surface holds the grey tones without shine. A light frame on a pale wall lets the red band stand out. The print sits at eye height on a dining room wall where the flag colours stay steady in the evening light.

You see the flag from the doorway and the red line draws the eye across the room. The grey field stays quiet against the wood trim. Jasper Johns work on that wall reads as a calm flag image in the evening.
