Untitled 17 - 1962 by Jeremy Moon starts with a plain painted ground. A few dark lines cross the surface with a quick hand.

The pressure changes along each stroke, so the paint sits thicker in the middle and thins at the ends. The lines stay separate and do not fill the sheet. The fine art print is set in a frame with a back panel.

You see the hand pressure in the thicker paint when you stand near the wall. It works on a hallway wall where the door opens sideways. From the hall you notice the dark lines against the pale ground, and the thin ends of each stroke.
