Gilgamesh — Fine Art

The title Gilgamesh sits over a field of brushed paint. Karl Otto Gotz sets thick strokes across the surface, with dark shapes pressing through lighter ground. The paint sits in uneven passes, so one area is dense and another is thin. You can feel the speed of the hand in the rough edge of each mark.
