Deposition — Fine Art

Deposition - 1955 shows a body laid down in a dark room, drawn in the measured style Lucio Fontana used across his early religious subjects. The figure rests on a narrow bed, with the weight of the body carried in a single long line. A quiet grey ground holds the scene and keeps the edges soft.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fixed to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. You do not need a separate frame.

In a bedroom, the print hangs above the bed and the dark ground stays calm in morning light. From the foot of the bed you see the whole figure settle into the grey, and the thin outline reads plainly against the wall.
