Untitled 2 — Fine Art

Untitled 2 by Man Ray shows a dark field with a bright cutout shape moving across it. The image uses the flat ground and strong contrast that appears in much of the surrealist print work by this artist.

This fine art print sits on matte paper, so the pale parts hold their tone and there is no shine under a lamp. You can choose a light frame on a dark wall, a dark frame on a pale wall, or a wood frame beside wooden furniture, and the frame finish will follow the room you pick.

It hangs on the stairwell wall beside the light switch, where you see the cutout shape from the bottom step and notice the plain ground behind it from the landing.
