Auflösung von lila — Fine Art

Auflösung von lila - 1972 shows a field of purple broken into smaller steps of tone. The shapes sit close together and move from one shade to the next. Max Bill made this in the style of concrete art, where geometry and exact colour steps take the lead.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. You do not need to buy a separate frame. The hanger keeps the print level and close to the wall.

It works on a bedroom wall above a low shelf. From the bed you see the purple steps as a calm band, and near the hanger you notice the even cut of the edges.
