Aquatic Garden — Fine Art

Aquatic Garden by Hans Hofmann puts water and plant shapes into a bold colour field painting. Thick colour blocks and quick brush lines push the surface forward.

The picture builds on the push and pull idea that runs through the artists abstract work. This fine art print comes set in a frame with a back panel so it sits ready on a shelf or hangs from a nail.

The matte surface keeps the blue and green tones even under indoor light. Hang it in a bathroom above a towel rail where the damp air suits the water shapes and the bright paint reads well from the door.
