Large Fragemented Shapes — Framed Poster

Robert Goodnough's 1968 work presents a vivid interplay of fragmented shapes. This piece showcases the artist's unique ability to blend geometric forms with a dynamic sense of movement.

The composition is a symphony of bold, fragmented shapes that dance across the canvas. The color palette is a mix of vibrant hues, with striking contrasts between warm and cool tones. The lines are sharp and precise, creating a sense of rhythm and energy. The spatial arrangement is complex, with overlapping forms that draw the eye into the depth of the piece. The contrast between the bright colors and the stark white background adds to the visual impact.

Goodnough was known for his abstract expressionist style, which often featured bold, geometric forms. His work is characterized by a sense of movement and energy, as seen in this piece. The fragmented shapes evoke a feeling of dynamism and excitement, as if capturing a moment of explosive creativity.

This print would be particularly striking on a large, unadorned wall, where its vibrant colors and dynamic forms can truly stand out.
