About this work
Mazzo di fiori - 1918 by Julius Evola shows a cluster of flowers drawn in black lines on a pale ground. The group sits near the centre with empty space on the sides. Small stems and leaves spread out from the centre. The drawing follows the measured graphic method Julius Evola used in his early work.
The fine art print keeps the pale ground soft under lamp light because the paper is matte. A light frame on a dark wall or a wood frame beside wooden furniture lets the black lines stand out. You can hang it on a bedroom wall near the bed.
In a reading corner the flowers sit above the desk. From the chair you see the simple shapes first, then the fine lines on the stems as you lean in.
