Number 22

Number 22 - 1949 by Ad Reinhardt shows a tight grid of thin painted bands. The bands run across the surface in a measured pattern. Each colour block sits beside another with a narrow gap between them.

A metal hanger is fitted to the back of this fine art print. It goes straight onto a nail or screw, so the sheet goes up on the wall without a separate frame.

In a dining room, the painted bands line up with the side of a table. From the doorway, the steady rhythm of the colours holds the wall in place while a bowl of fruit sits on the table.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
