Ocean Park #27

Ocean Park #27 shows a painted field divided by bands of colour and thin drawn lines. Richard Diebenkorn built these works from layered paint and pencil marks that sit on top of a prepared ground. The marks vary in weight and some edges look soft while others stay sharp.

This is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The frame holds the edges tight and the back panel keeps the sheet flat. When the ready to hang option is used it arrives assembled and ready to place on a wall.

It fits a hallway where you pass it twice a day. From the landing you read the broad colour bands first and the pencil lines come into view when you slow down near the door.
