Untitled - 1992 shows broad painted bands in mid tone pushed across a lighter ground. The paint sits on the surface with a flat build. Robert Goodnough worked in broad colour fields and layered paint.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. From the far end of a hall the bands read as a single colour. Up close the edge of each band shows a few small runs. The paper is matte so the colour stays even under a lamp.

The print arrives ready to hang with a metal hanger on the back that fits a nail or screw. It goes up on the wall without a frame. On the side wall of a kitchen the big painted bands hold the space and the small runs show when you pass by.
